MAGBOA Cenizo is distilled from 100% wild Agave durangensis (A. durangensis), matured for over a decade in the highlands of Nombre de Dios, Durango. Cooked in volcanic stone ovens, ground by hand, and fermented in floor-level wooden vats, it is then double-distilled in a hybrid Filipino and copper still.
This expression delivers a bold, smoky character balanced by herbal complexity and a subtle mineral finish. Its strength (48% Alc. Vol.) reflects its wild origin — raw, refined, and deeply rooted in Durango’s terroir.

As the old man walked up the hill, he encountered a wild boar on the path, which he ignored. However, a little bird in a tree told him, “I advise you not to ignore it, as it is trying to tell you something.” The old man, somewhat doubtful and incredulous, asked the boar, “What is it that you have to tell me?” The boar replied, “I represent abundance and I have come to tell you that you will have, for generations, abundant fruit in your lands.” The old man, somewhat concerned, asked, “What do I need to do?” The boar indicated that it would rain that night and a great lightning bolt would produce in his lands the fruit from which he would obtain the drink given by the gods. This would be sealed as he was transformed by the hawk that guided him to listen.
